By far the best VPN I’ve used. Surfshark is by far the best VPN I’ve used. Previously I used Nord and express, both of which after a few months stopped working for the services I was accessing. Surfshark has been over 2 years with no issues.

Worth the Annual Sub. I’ve been using surf shark for a couple years now and had previously tried a few other VPN networks. This one is by far the most user-friendly and has a lot of available locations. I’ve experienced almost no interruptions in the three years I’ve been using i...

My trusty VPN for four years now.. I think Surfshark is a great product that is constantly expanding its offerings. They are thoughtful and on top of their game. I really love how I can put it on as many devices as I need. When I researched their competitors years ago, they did n...

Discussion around Surfshark over the past four weeks landed in broadly mixed territory, with praise themes outnumbering complaint themes in raw volume but skepticism keeping overall tone from feeling enthusiastic. Feature breadth was the most frequently praised quality, with commenters repeatedly noting that the product offers more than a basic VPN, one mention capturing this with an almost evangelical tone about the service being indispensable. Pricing fairness generated the second-largest cluster of positive mentions, though this sat in uneasy tension with a smaller but pointed thread of complaints about inconsistent pricing between the app and the web portal, a friction point that visibly frustrated at least one reviewer who withheld a star over it.

The score trajectory tells a notably uneven story. Sentiment started at a low point in mid-May, climbed sharply through early June when mention volume also peaked, then entered a prolonged slide through late June before partially recovering into early July. The mid-June peak appears to have coincided with a burst of discussion that included a mix of enthusiastic use cases and practical frustrations, and as volume dipped in late June the tone turned more negative. The partial recovery in early July suggests stabilization rather than renewed momentum.

Competitor comparisons were the single largest complaint theme and carried a cynical edge in places, with some commenters framing Surfshark alongside other privacy-adjacent services as products charging a premium for capabilities available more cheaply elsewhere. Privacy concerns also surfaced as a recurring undercurrent, somewhat ironic given that security praise appeared in the positive themes at lower volume.

Opinion was most divided around value. Commenters who praised pricing did so genuinely, while others questioned whether the cost was justified relative to alternatives. UI changes also drew split reactions, with at least one mention mourning the removal of a favorite-locations feature that had previously worked well.
