I'll admit, waaays back I did some AI shit because at the time I didn't know better. This is way before stable diffusion, grok, chatgpt and all that. This is when it was one website and you could type in a stupid prompt and things came out looking like a fever dream.

STABLE DIFFUSION IS SO FRUSTRATING to get a proper #SYNTHART, #AIART image. Might be easier if my gpu wasn't bottom tier for it. However, 1st pic I liked, but I couldn't change one little aspect (hip area looks weird to me). 2nd pic is where I finally just said, "I'm moving on".

#SYNTHART #AIART #GENAIART Since my chatgpt is quota blocking me, I am testing out the concept with Stable Diffusion locally and gemini for restyling. It's different from my other awesome Dragon Lambs.

this was a lot of fun to do with ComfyUI and stable diffusion back in the day, shuffle/randomize embeddings and such though generally it'll just go off into uncanny valley. but it's AI-native for sure

Blame Stable Diffusion for the massive boobs! 🤖 I just wanted to keep your beauty untouched, Sainkho 😅. It is so delicate that trying to fully capture an angel as gorgeous as you is a beautiful challenge 🌸😘

Discussion around Stable Diffusion over the four-week window tracked a notably unsteady path, opening in noticeably subdued territory before climbing to a relative high point in mid-July and then settling back toward the middle of the range. The early weeks carried a heavier critical weight, with commenters expressing frustration across several fronts, and the tone only began to lift meaningfully around late June before peaking in the week of July 13. That peak did not hold, and the final weeks suggest the community landing at a cautious, unresolved midpoint rather than consolidating around either enthusiasm or disappointment.

Feature praise dominated the positive side of discussion by a wide margin, suggesting that when commenters felt moved to speak well of the tool, they were most often pointing to specific capabilities rather than overall impressions. Ease of use and output quality also drew appreciative mentions, though quality was a double-edged theme, appearing nearly as often in complaints as in praise. This split on ai quality was one of the clearer fault lines in the conversation, with some commenters appearing satisfied with results while others found the output inconsistent or underwhelming.

Competitor comparisons surfaced on both sides of the ledger, indicating that outside context shaped how many participants framed their views. Some mentions used competitors as a reference point to speak favorably of Stable Diffusion, while others used the same frame critically. Bugs and performance concerns added a more practical layer of frustration, and a thread of ethical unease appeared in sample mentions, with at least one commenter describing what they characterized as problematic use of the tool in connection with artist names and style replication.

Overall the tone suggested a community that remains genuinely interested but not uniformly satisfied, with quality consistency and competitive standing as the central axes around which opinion divided.
